Our friends at Craft Republic have done it again. A plethora of tasty treats hit the stores today - fresh off of their delivery truck. Sooo… if a “Case of the Monday’s…” has you seeking liquid relief - we have several cases of new options!
Here are a few highlights…
From staff favorites Evil Twin we see a new shipment of their fantastic gose ‘A’ Is For Apricot. This tart/sour wheat beer is brewed with sea salt and apricot puree. Lip puckering, fruity and refreshing - this beer didn’t stay on shelves long the last time we had it in stock. Sold in 4pk, 12oz cans.
Stouts and collaborations are strong suits for Evil Twin. Bible Bomb is their collaboration with Prairie Artisan Ales. Previously released by Prairie in 12oz bottles, this newest iteration is brewed and CANNED at their normal contracted work house Westbrook. Yes, Cans! And 16oz’rs at that! These are extremely limited and being sold as singles, 1pp. We also see super limited quantities of Even More JCS. Schemed by E.T.’s Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø as a tribute to Trillium Brewing co-founder Jean-Claude Tetreault, this stout emulates the flavors of the Italian espresso/gelato drink affogato. Trillium actually brews a beer called Affogato. Even More JCS is an imperial stout brewed with lactose and conditioned on coffee and vanilla beans. This is also only being sold by the single can, 1pp.
Stillwater Artisanal has been rolling out the canned hits the past few months. They have stepped up their hops game, and today brings two great additions to their recent output. G13 is a wild IPA aged on cedar, and comes in 4pk 12oz cans. Spaced is a low gravity/session IPA that comes in 4pk 16oz cans.
To top it off, we have a few limited beers from Omnipollo. While we don’t see a huge volume of their beer in this market, but when we do it is usually quality. Cans of Lustro, Nebuchadnezzar, and Pleroma are available in short supply at all 3 locations. Lustro is a “White Ultra Light IIPA.” With a contradictory name like that, why not give it a try?! Nebuchadnezzar is an imperial IPA that is strong on tropical fruit notes. Pleroma is perhaps the most interesting of the bunch. A “Raspberry Creme Brulee Sour Ale,” this sour ale is brewed with raspberries, lactose and vanilla. Dessert-style sours have risen in popularity lately, and this falls right in with the bunch.
Come and see us at one of the stores and pick up a couple new brews! We would love to see you! Being Monday, I should also remind you that today is GROWLER MONDAY. Every Monday all growler fills are 20% off. We know how Mondays can be, so come see us for a cheap pour!
